Graphene Seminar Series

The MRSEC Graphene Seminar Series are bi-weekly presentations given by one of the MRSEC graduate students, followed by discussion.  The goal of the seminar series is to inform Center researchers about recent research outcomes, and to promote interdisciplinary research.

The seminar schedule can be found on the MRSEC calendar.

Epitaxial Graphene Workshop

Poster SessionThe 1st International Epitaxial Graphene Workshop was held on April 1-2, 2009 at the Georgia Tech campus.  The workshop was attended by 88 researchers, faculty and students affiliated with various U.S. and international academic institutions, research labs and industry. The program consisted of eight sessions that covered the importance and future of epitaxial graphene, its growth, morphology and electronic structure, electronic properties, electronic transport, patterning and device applications. In addition to the regular sessions, a poster session was held where 24 posters were presented by Center undergraduates, graduate students, and postdocs.  The workshop presented many of the significant advances within the GT MRSEC to international researchers.  In addition, it provided a forum to promote international collaborations in areas of mutual interest to further advance the epitaxial graphene research community.
